Ways to Help
If you’re wondering how to help survivors flourish – please know that every little bit counts. We welcome your support and involvement. Donate clothes. Visit our shops. Provide financial support. Simple & Just helps survivors in Seattle Portland, and elsewhere in the Pacific Northwest. But we can’t do it without you. Whether you donate, volunteer, or purchase, your generosity means the world in the life of a survivor.

Support Our Mission with Donations
Donate Gently Worn and Better Brand Clothes
If you are interested in donating items to our shops, here is what you need to know:
We accept men’s and women’s clothing as well as a variety of accessories such as handbags and shoes. While we accept many brands and seasons, there are items that we specially look for at a given time and appreciate your consideration of them to help us keep a balanced inventory of items we need. The best ways to know what these might be are to give our shops a call or check our posted signage! Keep in mind we are always in need of the current season too. We are happy to help and appreciate you for keeping us in mind when going through your closets.
Additionally, when you are presorting a Simple & Just donation bag, we do ask for gently worn items and define this as an item with no rips, tears, stains or harsh visible wear. We also ask that you consider washing your clothing donations before drop off especially if you have pets at home!
Ready to donate? Bring us your gently loved items anytime during shop open hours to the front desk, no appointments necessary. We also offer tax receipts and pass on all items we cannot utilize to local nonprofits such as the Northwest Center and Rose Haven Day Center for women and children.
